How a clinician reviews your options

A licensed clinician may consider a GLP-1 or another metabolic medication as part of a weight-care plan. Your health history, current medications, examination needs, and the clinician's independent judgment determine whether a medication may be appropriate for you.

Benefits and limits

Potential benefits and expected outcomes vary. No medication works for everyone, and Victology does not promise eligibility, a prescription, a particular result, coverage, availability, or fulfillment.

Common adverse effects

Common adverse effects can include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, reduced appetite, and reflux. A clinician should explain medication-specific risks and what to do if symptoms occur.

Important risks to discuss

Important risks and warnings may include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, dehydration or kidney injury, low blood sugar when used with certain other medicines, worsening gastrointestinal disease, thyroid tumor warnings for certain medications, and pregnancy or breastfeeding restrictions.

Health history to review

A licensed clinician may need to review personal and family history, pregnancy or breastfeeding status, prior pancreatitis, gastrointestinal disease, kidney or gallbladder concerns, and other medicines before making a treatment decision.

Current website status

Victology does not provide medical visits, prescriptions, medication transactions, pharmacy fulfillment, or informed consent through the current website. The health screening is informational and does not replace a clinician's review.

Future informed consent

If a separate care service is offered later, the independent medical practice and licensed clinician will provide medication-specific information and obtain any required informed consent before treatment.
